Sometimes you simply need a place that belongs only to you. A space where you can arrive, settle in, and spend time together without other guests and without distractions. For such occasions, you can book Spielwiese exclusively. Whether it is a (children’s) birthday party, a family celebration, or a team evening with colleagues, we provide the appropriate setting for your gathering.
During your event, Spielwiese remains open exclusively for your group. You have access to our entire game collection and may choose freely what you would like to play. A member of our team is present throughout the event, assists with selecting games, explains the rules clearly, and keeps an eye on the overall flow. Drinks are prepared fresh, and you do not need to worry about cleaning up.
Our board game café accommodates groups of up to 40 people. At this size, the atmosphere becomes quite intimate. If the weather allows, we can additionally set up two to three tables outside, seating four people per table.
For children’s birthday parties, this means a structured setting in which all children are included. We select age-appropriate games, explain them patiently, and ensure that no one is left out. You are welcome to bring your own cake. Plates and cutlery can be provided upon request.
School classes are also welcome. For them, we extend the booked event duration by one additional hour at no extra charge. This allows more time to arrive, explore, and play together without feeling rushed.
For companies and teams, an exclusive game session offers a distinctive opportunity to connect. Games naturally encourage collaboration, create shared experiences, and help loosen structures that may feel rigid in everyday work life. Depending on your objectives, we recommend cooperative games, communication-based formats, or strategic challenges. If desired, we can also take on a moderating role and actively guide individual game rounds.
The minimum duration for an exclusive booking is two hours. Two hours cost €140, three hours €200. Each additional hour is charged at €50. For larger groups, particularly from approximately 25 people onward, we agree in advance on a minimum turnover to ensure that staffing and fixed costs are reliably covered. This keeps the event predictable for both sides.
Bringing your own food is permitted only as part of these private events. Drinks must be purchased through us; an overview can be found in our menu. If you prefer not to organize food yourselves, we can arrange catering in cooperation with nearby restaurants.
For groups seeking more intensive guidance, an additional game instructor can be booked for €30 per hour.
